On Monday the 11th of March, as part of Science week, the whole school visited Snibston Discovery Centre. Class 3/4 had a brilliant day exploring the galleries and carrying out different science investigations. During the morning they had a workshop on forces where they worked in groups to each make a parachute. These were then tested to see which one was the best (the one that landed last was declared the winner). The children also made a cone rocket which they launched with the help of a pop bottle.
After lunch (despite the small snow blizzard) the children enjoyed playing on the equipment outside and exploring how forces worked in a different way.
